Olu Jacobs (Oludotun Jacobs) was born on July 11, 1942 is a Nollywood famous actor, producer, director, television personality, investor and a philanthropist. He was born on 11th July 1942 in Abeokuta, Ogun State in the western part of Nigeria. Oludotun Baiyewu Jacobs spent his early childhood in Kano and attended Holy Trinity School where he was a member of a drama club. After his college education he proceeded to England to study acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. After which he featured in various British television shows and dramatic series such as The Goodies, Till Death, Angels, etc. He was inspired to take a chance with acting when he attended Hubert Ogunde’s annual concert party held in Kano in 1970. In 1978, he played the role of President Mageeba in Michael Codron’s presentation of Tom Stoppard’s play Night and Day. Read more…

Joke Silva is an actress, director, and businesswoman. A graduate of the University of Lagos and Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London, she began a career in film in the early 1990s. In 1998, she had a major role, starring opposite Colin Firth and Nia Long in the British-Canadian film The Secret Laughter of Women. In 2006, she won “Best Actress in a Leading Role” at the 2nd Africa Movie Academy Awards for her performance in Women’s Cot, and “Best Actress in a Supporting Role” at the 4th Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2008 for her performance as a grandmother in White Waters.
